What we want you to know first
Natural fibers can brown, stiffen, shrink or leave water rings when they get wet. That's why we inspect first, tell you what to expect, and won't promise a result the fiber can't deliver.
What it costs
Priced by length × width, with no extra charge for cleaning fringe. No deposit required — you get a written quote first, and you pay when the job is finished.

Pickup & delivery orders have a $250 minimum. Drop-off (by appointment) has no minimum — you pay straight per-square-foot pricing. Getting into a building, checking in, and moving equipment between our van and your unit takes extra time and effort, so all apartment and condo buildings have a $500 minimum for any service.

What we actually do to your rug
Check-in and inspection
Each rug is logged on its own line with photos, and any existing damage, stains or wear is noted before we touch it. We also check dye stability on every rug so we use the right products.
Dry dusting
Dry soil hides deep at the base of the pile. We remove it before water goes on, so you don't end up with muddy rinse water.
Wash
Your rug is washed on our raised rug wash floor, not spot-cleaned in place.
Rinse and extract
It's rinsed thoroughly and spun in our centrifuge, which pulls out most of the water so it dries faster and cleaner.
Climate-controlled drying
Rugs dry in our temperature-controlled drying room so they're completely dry when you get them back.
Final inspection and return
We check the results, then roll your rug and band it with shrink wrap. It comes back to you (or is ready for pickup) rolled and banded. We only wrap a rug fully for long-term storage.

Between cleanings: Vacuum regularly, since grit falls through the weave, and lift the rug now and then to vacuum underneath. Blot spills with a dry cloth and avoid water. Keep it away from humidity and use a breathable rug pad.

Questions
Can jute rugs be washed?
Yes, with care. These fibers absorb water and can brown, so we inspect first and tell you what to expect.
Why did my jute rug turn brown?
Natural fibers hold tannins that can leach out when wet, which shows up as browning. It's common after spills or DIY cleaning, and cleaning can't reverse it once it has happened.
Are jute, sisal and seagrass the same?
No. They react differently to water. Send a photo and we'll tell you how yours is likely to behave.
Why is it shedding?
It's normal. Loose fibers come off natural rugs, especially new ones.
Will you get pet urine out?
